Terron Armstead

The Saints premier left tackle missed the top 100 list, but he managed to make his 2nd straight Pro Bowl last season. The Saints right tackle, Ryan Ramczyk, missed the Pro Bowl, but he made the top 100 players list.

I would say that it’s ludicrous for two offensive tackles only to make this year’s top 100. Cowboys LT Tyron Smith and Ravens LT Ronnie Stanley gained that recognition, but it shouldn’t of just been those two marque players.

Again, if another player was added to another position that had to make the list, Terron Armstead would most definitely be that player. Cook would have been the 5th tight end to make the list and Armstead would have been the third left tackle to make the list.

I believe that Armstead is more talented than Stanley, and both are premier players; however, I would say because the Ravens had more team success, it gave the offensive lineman a little more love.

I don’t understand how pass rushers that aren’t even top 10 at their position are more important and dominant than the likes of an elite left tackle, like Terron Armstead. “16” edge rushers made the top 100, yet two left tackles made the entire list.

Armstead will look to stay healthy this year and bring out his career year, which could finally earn him All-Pro and a guaranteed top 100 spot next season.

Let’s take a look at the biggest Saints snub on the list.
