The New Orleans Saints are starting to consistently hit the NFL Draft lottery every year, the question is which player will be the face of the 2020 NFL Draft?

The Saints have hit home runs in each of the last few drafts by landing key players like Michael Thomas, Marshon Lattimore, Alvin Kamara, Ryan Ramczyk, and Erik McCoy. These five have become key factors for the team’s success, helping win three straight divisional titles.

The Saints seemed to bring in some star power in the 2020 NFL Draft as well, but the biggest splash could be made by some players who weren’t even drafted. The team took offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz in the first round.

They then, a few days after, released Larry Warford, allowing Ruiz to be the Day 1 starter.

Later in the draft, the Saints took Zach Baun, helping shore up their linebacking corps in case one of the several 2021 free agents decides to leave. They also added Adam Trautman and Tommy Stevens. It’s unlikely all will make a huge impact at the sport’s highest level.

Let’s dive on in and take a look at three players who could be considered a star player by the end of the season.
