The Saints must have $20 million worth of production from Taysom Hill

The New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill was a restricted free agent this season and the team placed a first-round tender on him. With no team signing him, the Saints were forced to sign him to roughly a $4 million deal.

They decided to extend him another two years for a total of three years and roughly $24 million. Taysom Hill is going to need to produce enough in the playoffs to make that contract worth what the team signed him to.

In the wild card loss last season to the Vikings, Taysom Hill was arguably the best player on the field whether rushing, receiving, or throwing. Hill was, in fact, doing it all and doing it at a high level for the Saints.

If the team is hoping to get back to the Super Bowl and win it, Hill is going to have to have games in these playoffs similar to what he did last season in the playoffs. If these three things happen, New Orleans will become champions of the NFL once again.
