Demario Davis

The New Orleans Saints were led defensively by Cam Jordan and Demario Davis. Jordan harassed the quarterback, having arguably his best season on the line, while Davis made his presence felt by anyone trying to come across the middle.

Davis has turned into one of the NFL’s best linebackers. According to Pro Football Focus, Davis was the “Only LB w/ PFF grades of 80+ in run defense, coverage and pass-rush in 2019.” That’s dominance.

Throughout 2019, Davis accrued 111 combined tackles and a career-high 12 passes defended. He also tallied four sacks. Along with only his second career interception, Davis has a highly successful 2019 campaign. Sadly, though, Davis wasn’t awarded a trip to the Pro Bowl.

He was more than deserving of one as he was elected as an All-Pro, an odd combination. A free agent next offseason, Davis will need to prove his worth even more in 2020 as he’ll be up for either a new deal or a large extension.
