The New Orleans Saints went 13-3 in the regular season but lost a disappointing playoff game, totaling four losses. Who can they seek revenge on in 2020?

Drew Brees needs to return the favor of winning against a few teams that have damaged the Saints’ Super Bowl hopes in 2019. The Saints are scheduled to play 3 of the 4 teams in 2020 that beat them in 2019.

The Saints will have lots of motivation to beat a few intriguing teams in 2020. There’s no fan base like Who Dat Nation, who loves to get rowdy against a rival in the Super Dome.

Sean Payton has lots of competitive fire, and he’s notorious for showing his emotion against opponents.

Whether it was showing a “choking” expression against Devonta Freeman in 2017, or mocking the skol chant to the Vikings fan base right before the Minneapolis Miracle occurred, there’s not a coach who loves to stir conflict.

There are a few teams on the Saints calendar that Sean Payton will love to play more than others this year.

Clubs in 2019 like the Falcons who blew out the Saints coming off a bye week, or the 49ers who barely edged out the Saints on a last-second field goal, will be marked down as revenge games when those opponents play the Saints in 2020.

Some revenge games in 2020 should cause better performance for a roster that has their sights set on the Super Bowl.

Teams who upset the Saints last year like the 49ers will be loaded on talent again, so added motivation will only improve the Saints’ chances of winning. That said, let’s take a look at the three biggest revenge games in 2020.
