Patrick Robinson

Cornerback Patrick Robinson will, in my opinion, be behind Marshon Lattimore, Janoris Jenkins, and PJ Williams. Robinson has played for the Saints since 2010 when he was drafted by the team in the first round.

He’s had some good seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but now 32, turning 33 before the season commences, Robinson may be on his way out, or at least down a few spots on the depth chart.

After all, last season the veteran played in 11 games, recording 16 tackles and two pass deflections. Those numbers aren’t too bad considering he played in a mere 170 defensive snaps. What’s more concerning is Robinson 11.1% missed tackle percentage.

Robinson returned to New Orleans in 2018, playing all of three games.

There shouldn’t be any regrets when it comes to bringing him in or playing his big snaps back in the day, but it’s time to give the XFL’s interception leader, Deatrick Nichols, assuming he cracks the final roster.
