Number Three: The Defense

For the first time in years, Drew Brees finally has an overall great defense to help get opponents off the field and give Drew Brees more opportunities to thrive. If the New Orleans defense continues to dominate, Brees could cash in on extended opportunities.

The Saints are returning four Pro Bowlers on the defense and are bringing back a group that has built chemistry and thrives in the spotlight.

Saints’ defensive end is coming off a career-high 15.5 sack season, linebacker Demario Davis was named a First-Team All-Pro in 2019, Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins are anchoring the corners and Malcolm Jenkins was brought back to be a force at strong safety and provide veteran leadership.

With Cam Jordan up there as one of the top defensive ends in the game is arguably the most important weapon on this defense.

The Saints have one of the best defenses in the entire NFL and they are looking ready to force more turnovers and give Drew Brees more opportunities to thrive in 2020.
