Number Two: Strength of Schedule

The New Orleans Saints have one of the toughest schedules in 2020 as they are set to square up against five 2019 playoff teams and both teams who competed in the Super Bowl last season.

The Saints have a great opportunity to win some statement games and put some players on award radars.

The person with the most to benefit from the tough schedule in 2020 is Drew Brees.

Brees is set to square up with Tom Brady twice, Aaron Rodgers, Carson Wentz, Patrick Mahomes, and Teddy Bridgewater. If Brees can beat former MVPs like Brady, Rodgers, and Mahomes it will put him on all the MVP radars.

Brees will obviously need to play well in these significant games, but with his supporting cast, that shouldn’t be a problem. Expect Drew Brees to be in some MVP conversations after a few of these matchups in 2020.
