Michael Thomas

This one is a huge shock to you, I know.

However, hear me out. Just like Kamara had a stipulation, Thomas does as well. Michael Thomas’ current Yahoo ADP is 5.8. He is the highest WR by almost six draft spots. The next highest WR is Devante Adams with an ADP of 11.0.

I am not saying that Thomas should not be on your fantasy team, but with an ADP of 5.8, his price is way too high to be on my fantasy roster. Especially considering he will have a chunk of targets this year going to Emmanuel Sanders.

I also hope that Jared Cook plays a bigger role in the offense this year as well. All things being said, Michael Thomas will still be the best wide receiver in the NFL this year, but he playing fantasy is a strategic game and Thomas at 5.8 is not happening.

His impact on the Saints roster is second to none. The fact of the matter is he’s still the league’s best receivers, but this team added weapons that will likely cause his usage to go down.

These four players are not bad teammates; they are not even bad players — all four broken top-15 Saints’ player rankings! However, because of the reasons stated, they are not going to make the best fantasy players. I would avoid them in your fantasy draft at their average worth.
