Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders thrived last year — or did he? He might have looked good on the field, but in fantasy, he barely cracked the top 30 in wide receivers. That is nothing to be proud of; he was also just barely over 50% owned in Yahoo leagues.

That was also while Sanders was the No. 1 receiver on a talented offensive team — granted they did run the ball more than the Saints ever will. Still, Sanders is going to have to contend with arguably the best receiver in the league Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and Jared Cook for targets.

Don’t get me wrong, Sanders is a very highly welcomed addition to the Saints receiving core who had virtually no one besides Michael Thomas last season, but that will not greatly affect his fantasy football value.

I don’t necessarily think the Emmanuel Sanders’ stock is going to fall at all; I also don’t think it is going to rise at all. For that reason, I am staying away from drafting Sanders in any format of fantasy leagues you’re in.
