Alvin Kamara

This one might catch you off guard.

I do want to stipulate one thing before you roast me for putting Alvin Kamara on this list — he is only on this list if your fantasy football league is a standard, non-point per reception (PPR) league.

When you get a point per reception, his name comes off of this list because he catches a ton of balls out of the backfield. However, he is not a top 10 rusher in the league according to ESPN or Yahoo!.

I also expect Latavius Murray to play a bigger third and fourth down role as well as a bigger goal-line role in this upcoming season. Because of that, Kamara’s rushing yards will go down even from last year.

For this reason, Kamara is not a player you want on your roster for the price he is going at. His average ADP in Yahoo is currently 5.1. There is no way I am taking Kamara in the top five picks in my fantasy football draft.
