Saints: 3 training camp battles to keep an eye on

The New Orleans Saints’ starting lineup is pretty much already set in stone, but the bottom tier of talent will acquire the most attention throughout camp.

The Saints are already widely regarded as the favorites to not only win the NFC South for the fourth consecutive season but also to win the entire NFC. After all, the team went 13-3 last season and arguably improved the most of any top-tier team.

Their biggest competition, the San Francisco 49ers, are already being bitten by the injury and trade demand bug while the Saints continue to improve it seems every day.

Emmanuel Sanders and Cesar Ruiz are the two premiere additions, but players like Malcolm Jenkins and Zack Baun will also help this team take their game to the next level. Both sides of the ball improved despite guard Larry Warford and safety Vonn Bell being released or leaving.

With a talented team comes tough decisions. There will be multiple players fighting for a chance at their crack at the roster. That said, here is a look at three training camp battles Saints fans should keep an eye on this year.
