Saints News: 4 jersey swaps we won’t get to see in 2020
Saints’ Drew Brees swapping with Buccaneers’ Tom Brady
In one of the biggest storylines of the offseason, future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady left the New England Patriots and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, an NFC South rival of the New Orleans Saints.
With Brady now apart of the division, the NFC South now has two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks in it this season. That means Brady and Brees will play each other twice this season, once at each home field.
Meeting only a handful of times before this, a Buccaneers’ jersey swap between Brees and Brady would be a historic addition to Brees’ collection, especially in what might be his last season as a quarterback in the NFL.
The regulations they are putting on the team in the NFL are fair. However, the iconic jersey swap that normally happens between players will not happen. For this reason, these four potential swaps will go down this season.
