Saints’ Michael Thomas swapping with Chargers’ Joey Bosa

The bond between New Orleans Saints Michael Thomas and Los Angeles Chargers’ Joey Bosa goes back all the way to their days playing together at the Ohio State University. They were both drafted in 2016.

They were drafted with teammates Eli Apple, a former Saint, Taylor Decker, Darron Lee, Vonn Bell, and Ezekiel Elliot in the first two rounds of that draft. Bosa and Thomas haven’t played each other since their rookie season in 2016.

This time around things are a little different — they are both stars for their respective teams. Not only are they stars, but they both also play on opposite sides of the field so they will be playing against each other this year.

A blast from the past, teammates in college, and now enemies on the field in the NFL. It would have been a sight to see Joey Bosa and Michael Thomas swap jerseys this season, but unfortunately, that will not happen.
