Saints’ Drew Brees swapping with Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes

It is not every year that you get to see a future Hall of Fame quarterback matchup against the best young quarterback in the last decade. Patrick Mahomes and Drew Brees are sure to be an offensive shootout of the passing game.

The Kansas City Chiefs are fresh off of a Super Bowl Championship, and Mahomes is fresh off of an MVP caliber season. The two teams did not meet last season which makes this matchup, even more, one to look forward to.

Both quarterbacks will be fighting for a Super Bowl championship this season. It wouldn’t shock me if they met each other not only in the offseason but also in the Super Bowl. A true matchup for the ages.

However, a matchup like this and a swap of jerseys, almost like the changing of the guard, is not going to happen this year. Even though that moment won’t happen, this showdown will be on that should not be missed.
