Dak Prescott, QB

The last dream target on this list is the biggest and brightest dream in our little dream world. Saints starting quarterback Drew Brees could retire at the end of this season in what would be a likely scenario.

His backup, Jameis Winston, only signed a one year deal so he too is a free agent at the end of the season. Dak Prescott, on the other hand, has been one of the few deals that the Dallas Cowboys have yet to make — they even franchise tagged him so they didn’t have to.

At the end of next season, he will become an unrestricted free agent. If Brees retires and the Saints neglect to re-sign Winston to take his place, could Dak Prescott be the new face of the New Orleans Saints black and gold?

Thank you for taking a ride in my dream world. In the reality of the actual world we live in, one of these might possibly be true but certainly not more. However, even if just for a moment, it was nice to dream about the Saints being the center of the NFL’s superstars.
