Yannick Ngakoue, DE

Yannick Ngakoue (still have no clue how to pronounce that) has been in the news quite a bit recently with his reluctancy to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars. While he might have to endure this season, he is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year.

Since entering the league four years ago, Ngakoue has started all but two games for the Jaguars. He has also totaled 37.5 sacks which are almost average to double-digit sacks per year for the youngster out of Maryland.

With the opportunity to learn from one of the best, Ngakoue might be drawn to the Saints to play alongside Cameron Jordan. The presence of both of them at either end of the line would be menacing for opposing offenses.

At only 26 years-old, Ngakoue would almost take the place of Jordan. He would become the face of the Saints’ defense for years to come. On the plus side, he is at a point where he is ready to sign a long-term contract — especially with a contending team.
