Josh Martin, LB

Josh Martin never got his shot with the New Orleans Saints organization. He signed with the team at the beginning of the 2019 season after spending the previous three seasons with the New York Jets, the last of which he was also on the IR.

Martin, who was signed by the Saints last July, found himself injured about a month later. He spent the entire 2020 season on the injured reserve for the Saints which is a pity because the team needed linebackers late in the season.

Even before then, Martin had only started 10 games since entering the league with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. He never really has gotten the chance to show what he can truly do in the linebacker position.

Since 2013, Martin has spent time with four teams (Cheifs, Buccaneers, Jets, and Saints), and he has found himself on the IR at least once for every single team. Unfortunately, his “prone to injury” past will likely leave him unsigned.
