Demario Davis

On a contract season, Demario Davis is aging, and he’ll need to prove his worth up until the season’s last snap to get the large contract he likely desires. Davis is just one of several Saints’ linebackers that’ll be up for a new contract in 2021.

The Saints will want to retain him, but Davis, entering the 2021 season, will be 32. An All-Pro in 2019, Davis should be able to continue as one of the best outside linebackers in the league, but he needs to continue to prove himself.

Last season, Davis had 111 combined tackles, four sacks and a career-high 12 passes defended.

He has everything it takes to lead this defense for a third straight season after coming from New York. Davis signed a three-year deal two seasons ago worth $24 million. He’s put up career numbers while in the Big Easy.
