Drew Brees

Drew Brees is 41 years old.

He doesn’t have much time left. Many are thinking this will be his last season. There are quite a few reasons why it could be his last season as well, a list that starts with the fact that Jameis Winston is on a one-year deal and could take over.

Taysom Hill is also going to start being paid starter-level money next season. Both quarterbacks could move into the spotlight if Brees retires.

That, and the fact that Brees will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer with just one Super Bowl trophy to his name.

Brees, if he can get over his postseason woes, find a way to raise his second Lombardi Trophy. He has a talented roster to do so. If the season is canceled due to the virus and the lack of safety among players, Brees may retire with just one to his name.

His many records also couldn’t get to the verge of unbreakable. He has had an illustrious career that can continue as long as it doesn’t get cut short, a situation would likely break the heart of both Brees and the Saints’ diehard fanbase.
