Number Two: Taysom Hill

If for some reason the New Orleans Saints decide to not go with newly acquired Jameis Winston at the quarterback position if something were to happen to Drew Brees, the next man in line would be Taysom Hill.

Hill, 29, hasn’t seen much action at the quarterback position in the NFL but has seen time on special teams, as a wide receiver, and as a tight end instead.

In the limited action, the NFL has seen him throw the ball, he has been up and down. Hill has completed just 46.2 percent of his passes in the NFL for 119 passing yards and a touchdown to interception ratio of zero to one.

The only thing Hill really has going for him is his athleticism. Hill is considered to be the Swiss Army Knife of the NFL and has excelled in that role.

Sean Payton is also extremely high on the potential of Hill and could see him as a future starter, but he also made those remarks before they signed former number one overall pick Jameis Winston to a league minimum contract.

It’s honestly at this point a toss-up in regards to who the Saints will turn to if Brees goes down, but Winston seems to have the upper hand at least for now.
