2021 fourth-round pick

The Saints, for the first time in a while, will be looking forward to compensatory picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. With potentially an extra pick, the team may be more willing to part ways with a fourth-round pick for a young star.

The only problem with giving up too much for the 23-year-old is that his health could be a problem. That may be the main reason why the Browns decided to move on from him despite a successful second season in the league.

Last year was Njoku’s third season in the league, and he played just four games, starting one. Njoku was placed on the injured reserve due to a wrist injury last season. He had just five receptions on ten targets.

This will likely be the most that the Saints give up, and it should be the high side of the market that Njoku is looking at. With a solid tight end room, the team would truly love the extra end zone threat, but they won’t be giving anything over a fourth-round pick if they give that.
