Number Two: Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas, the 2019 NFL Offensive Player of the Year and the star wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints, is more than deserving of a ten-year contract extension.

Thomas is one of the hardest workers in the entire NFL, and it’s evident when you see a wide receiver finish in the top three for MVP voting.

Michael Thomas is still only 27 years old and would still be able to be productive at age 37.

We have seen many other great NFL wide receivers continue to be productive at an old age. Guys like Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, and Terrell Owens all played into their late 30’s and we could see Michael Thomas do the same.

The pace Michael Thomas is on is mind-blowing and he could eventually pass some of the greats to ever play.

Thomas through just four seasons with the Saints has recorded 470 receptions, 5,512 receiving yards, a 11.7 yards per reception average, 306 first downs, and 32 touchdowns. Michael Thomas is without a doubt the best wide receiver in the NFL and he could be for a long time.
