Number One: Cameron Jordan

Cameron Jordan, the New Orleans Saints’ star defensive end, is the number one guy I would give a ten-year contract extension to. Jordan, 30, would be old by the time the deal expired but he has proven he can still play and improve at a high level.

Cameron Jordan has been with the Saints for nine seasons already and is just now hitting his prime.

Jordan easily has another six great seasons left under his belt and he has proven that with his improved play every single season. Jordan, a five-time Pro Bowler, recorded a career-high 15.5 sacks for the black and gold in 2019 and is looking to build on that in 2020.

Cameron Jordan has provided some impressive stats in his NFL career and the most impressive stat of them all is the one where he hasn’t missed a game in his entire career.

Jordan has also recorded some crazy numbers in his nine seasons totaling 463 tackles, 113 tackles for a loss, 168 quarterback hits, 87 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, 10 fumbles recovered, 47 passes defended, two interceptions, and one defensive touchdown.

Cameron Jordan is more than worthy of a ten-year contract extension, but his age likely won’t agree with a decade longer in the league.
