Target No. 2 – 1,000 receiving yards

This target wouldn’t necessarily be a career-high, but it is something that Sanders has only accomplished three other times in his career and all with the stretch with the Broncos from 2014-2016 — His highest being 1,404 yards.

There is a good chance that Sanders can break his 1,404 career-high, but the target that we wish to see is just for him to hit 1,000. It would be nice to see two Saints hitting 1,000 receiving yards in the same season again.

That hasn’t happened since Michael Thomas (1,137) and Brandin Cooks (1,173) did it back in 2016. Since then, the Saints have struggled to have any receiver pair well with Michael Thomas — until now.

Drew Brees loves to throw the ball and loves to spread out his targets so this should be the easiest goal to hit. However, he is going to have to compete with a receiving running back too and a talented tight end.
