The newest Saints receiver has some pretty high shoes to play beside; keeping up with Michael Thomas is no easy task, here is what Sanders will have to do.

The New Orleans Saints have been active on the free agency market this year.

One of their most notable signings is ex-49ers wide receiver, Emmanuel Sanders. A blessing when it comes to adding another top tier receiver talent, the Saints desperately needed help on the edge.

When Emmanuel Sanders joined the Denver Broncos from the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014, he would go on to have his three best seasons that Sanders’s career has ever seen — playing with Peyton Manning.

When Manning retired, so did Sanders big numbers. Over the course of the next three years, Sanders’s numbers would continue to decline before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers last season midway through.

Having not re-signed with the 49ers and chosen the Saints instead, Sanders is primed to be the receiver we saw back in 2014 and 2015 with Peyton Manning. Here are three ambitious targets Sanders needs to hit this year.
