Number Two: Garrett Griffin

Garrett Griffin is a 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end who currently plays for the New Orleans Saints. Griffin is a player with solid potential but is a bit undersized to play the tight end position in the NFL.

I think the only way Garrett Griffin can make the final roster is if he can make a switch to fullback and compete with Mike Burton and Ricky Ortiz for the spot. He has great power for his size and has solid hands too.

The Saints’ tight ends are pretty much already set in stone with Jared Cook entering the final year of his contract, Josh Hill who has always been a reliable second option, and newly drafted Adam Trautman who the team took in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Griffin has just three receptions for sixteen yards and a touchdown in his NFL career and will have a hard time making his case to make the Saints roster as the team will likely give fourth-round draft pick Adam Trautman extended playing time in the preseason to see what they have in him.
