Number One: Austin Carr

Austin Carr is a wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints and has been since 2017. Carr is a decent wide receiver, but in a receiver class, as loaded as the Saints, he will have a hard time cracking the final roster.

Austin Carr stands at six feet tall and hails from Northwestern University where in his senior year he led the Big Ten Conference in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns while well on his way to being named the Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year and a First Team Big Ten selection as well.

Carr’s talent hasn’t translated well to the NFL and has just ten receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns in his career. He signed a one-year deal with the Saints, but it’s still up in the air if he cracks the final roster.

Carr will be competing for a fourth and fifth receiver spot against favored guys like Krishawn Hogan, Deonte Harris, Maurice Harris, and Marquez Callaway.
