The Saints have a three-headed monster in Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, and Michael Thomas. The trio makes up the best QB-WR-RB combo in the league.

For the last three seasons, the New Orleans Saints have been led by quarterback-running back-wide receiver trio that is among the best in the NFL. Those three are Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, and Michael Thomas.

As for Brees, even though he missed five games last season, he still led the league in completion percentage for a third straight season.

He helped lead the Saints to a 13-3 record and a third straight NFC South title. Brees has been the steady force that has led the Saints for over a decade. He’s been the reason for the team’s sustained success.

Thomas is up next, and he’s been incredible recently. Thomas is the reason this trio is the league’s best. He had the most reception in NFL history in a single season last year and also the most receiving yards in the NFL.

After signing a ginormous contract the offseason before, Thomas didn’t let the money slow down his production. He’s shown the Saints exactly why he’s worth that money.

Thirdly, we have Alvin Kamara. Kamara had a down season in 2019, being injured for the bulk of the year.

He only missed a few games, but it was the lingering injuries that hurt his production. 2019, despite being a Pro Bowler, was the first season Kamara filed to eclipse 1,500 all-purpose yards. Kamara, at full strength, is expected to bounce back.

That said, this trio does have some tough competition. Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, and Amari Cooper are all among the top ten in their position as well.

Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and whatever Chiefs running back are lined up will also be a top contender for the league’s best offensive trio.

There really aren’t too many other options. Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, and Aaron Jones are also up there. Among the top tier could also be NFC South rivals Atlanta with Todd Gurley, Matt Ryan, and Julio Jones.

At the end of the day, Brees, Kamara and Thomas are easily the league’s best three-man offensive force.
