Cesar Ruiz

Cesar Ruiz, the all-star rookie from the University of Michigan, will be on display this preseason. Not only did the Saints draft him higher than everyone had him projected, but they also released a former Pro-Bowl guard so Ruiz could start in his place.

The Saints have placed a lot of pressure on Ruiz, but he will, most likely, be switching from the center, which he played in Michigan, to guard replacing Larry Warford. Preseason will mean the most for Ruiz.

He will not only have to prove that he can be the player Warford was, but he will also need to prove that he has what it takes to be a Pro-Bowl lineman protecting a future Hall of Fame quarterback.
