Number One: Demaryius Thomas

Demaryius Thomas is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound wide receiver who has played for the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and New York Jets in his career. Thomas has had a great career thus far and could continue it in New Orleans.

Thomas was the first wide receiver taken in the 2010 NFL Draft at number 22 overall by the Denver Broncos. He would later unite with another wide receiver from that draft by the name of Emmanuel Sanders, who currently plays for the New Orleans Saints.

If Thomas was signed by the Saints, he would not just have one familiar face in the wide receiver room; he would have two as he was teammates with newly signed wide receiver and running back Ty Montgomery in New York last season.

During Thomas’ small stint with the New England Patriots, he spent time on the roster with current Saints defensive tackle Malcom Brown as well.

Thomas also shares a last name with Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas who was named the 2019 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, but that’s not necessarily one of his key ties. Thomas certainly has more ties to New Orleans than you may have realized.
