Number Two: Special Teams

Tommy Stevens is already taller than the majority of the New Orleans Saints roster and could play a big role on special teams for the team.

There are many aspects of a special teams unit that go unnoticed. Everyone knows about the star kick returner and the top-tier specialists, but the gunners, blockers, and edge rushers on punts often go unnoticed.

Tommy Stevens is being presented with an opportunity to make a career out of simply being athletic.

His versatility will be adored by the Saints coaching staff as they already made a prodigy out of Taysom Hill who we saw get paid generously this offseason. Stevens has been seen as a physical player who will do whatever it takes to win football games, much like Taysom Hill.

Stevens could make a career out of blocking punts, making big special teams plays, and being a utility player for the Saints, which is a trend several NFL teams are starting to seek.
