No. 3 Brian Daboll

Should Drew Brees and Sean Payton ride off into the sunset following this upcoming season, the Saints will be in the precarious position of having two very unfamiliar faces in two very important roles.

Brian Daboll isn’t the flashiest name who could get a head coaching gig in 2021. But, the 45-year-old Canadian has transformed Josh Allen from a near bust to a playoff-caliber quarterback with elite potential.

Daboll’s sole task, when hired on as Buffalo’s offensive coordinator, was to give Allen the nudge many thought he needed. The move worked. Allen is throwing more touchdowns and fewer interceptions, and the Bills are looking more and more like contenders.

Apart from his ability to mentor young quarterbacks, Daboll is a product of the Belichick coaching tree. He would bring valuable experience and discipline to a young team, a team that is inching closer to a young starting quarterback by the game.
