The New Orleans Saints likely won’t pull off any of these trades, but let’s imagine a world in which they can finesse these four stars.

There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints improved this offseason. Adding Emmanuel Sanders, drafting Cesar Ruiz and also re-signing players like Taysom Hill and Drew Brees all headlined an active last few months.

Aiming at the longest stretch of winning the NFC South in the division’s history, the Saints may want to look into bringing in additional pieces to shore up their chances.

A favorite to win the division, the team could easily cement themselves as the best in the conference if they improve just a few positions. Overall, the Saints could still use additional depth at wide receiver and cornerback, two positions critical for success.

At receiver, behind superstar Michael Thomas and Sanders, they have the unproven Tre’Quan Smith; then at cornerback, they have Patrick Robinson and PJ Williams behind Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins.

This team is among the league’s elite, although they do have a few holes to fill. That said, let’s dive into four trades every fan should want the Saints to make this offseason.
