Key No. 2: Saints winning home games

The New Orleans Saints have one of the hardest home schedules in the NFL this year. Most times, home games are the “easy” ones; the ones with home-field advantage. The Saints will face an onslaught at home this season.

Here are the eight teams the Saints play at home this season — San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, and Los Angeles Chargers, and the Green Bay Packers.

Out of those eight, four of those were playoff teams last season. The Buccaneers were not a playoff team, but they might be the most improved team this season after adding future Hall-of-Fame connection Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

Their away schedule is hard, but their home schedule will determine whether the Saints even make the playoffs. They won’t be able to drop more than two of these home games if they hope to gain the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
