The New Orleans Saints have one of the best teams that they have had in a decade, but will that translate to being a winning team?

The New Orleans Saints have only felt the extreme pride of being a Super Bowl-winning team one time in NFL history. They have only paraded for the Saints in the city one other time in franchise history.

Last season, many fans felt the itch of the want to feel that again. Only a handful of players on the Saints even felt that feeling in 2009. To be the best, it takes more than just the right personnel; it takes the perfect storm.

In 2019, the Saints were one of the major NFC favorites to win the Super Bowl.

The front office, staff, players and fans thought that last season was the one where the Saints pull out another Lombardi trophy. Despite being the third seed, the pride was high, and they were expecting a deep postseason run. Sadly, that’s not what happened.

The Saints’ season ended in a short Wild Card loss to the Minnesota Vikings. It was a tragic end to a great season. How do the New Orleans Saints make sure that this is the year they bring that second parade to the city? Here are three keys to how.
