S, Vonn Bell

New Team: Cincinnati Bengals

Early on last year and even toward the end of the year, everyone was talking about how Marshon Lattimore and Vonn Bell were the anchors to the New Orleans Saints secondary — one that wasn’t that good so the anchors mattered even more.

When Bell became an unrestricted free agent this year, all hopes were that the Saints would quickly sign the young safety to a massive contract. However, as time passed, it was very evident that it was not going to happen.

Therefore, Vonn Bell found a team that was willing to offer him the contract he deserved. The Cincinnati Bengals, who struggled in every aspect of their team last season, found a stable, consistent, and talented safety.

Saints’ fans can only wonder what would have turned out if Bell stayed on the team. Instead, the franchise replaced him with ex-Saint Malcolm Jenkins. While Jenkins already knows the staff and defense, he is going to have to prove a lot for the team not to miss Bell at all.
