LB, A.J. Klein

New Team: Buffalo Bills

A.J. Klein was a player that came to the New Orleans Saints not highly recruited but with a talent that was yet to be pulled out of him. However, if there is anyone who can bring the best potential out of a football player it is the Saints’ coaching staff.

That is exactly what they did. They signed a washed-up talent from Carolina that had never started more than ten games in a season, and they turned him into a full time starting linebacker who would surpass 70 tackles in a season.

Like all good things, they must come to an end. When Klein was up for free agency this year, there was a great likelihood that the Saints would not be able to offer him the money that he deserved and that proved true.

The Saints could’ve made it happen, but they had other things to care for down the pipeline.

The new and improved Klein signed a great deal with the Buffalo Bills. The Saints, on the other hand, drafted linebacker Zack Baun and will get Alex Alanzone back from injury, but there is a good chance Klein will be heavily missed this year.
