Number Three: Logan Ryan

Logan Ryan is hands down the best cornerback still available and was one of the best cornerbacks on the entire free-agent market in 2020. Ryan has the experience the Saints want, and the price tag the team can afford, and he would fit the mold in New Orleans like a glove.

It was originally reported that Ryan had reached an agreement with the New York Jets, but that deal fell through which means he’s still there for the taking.

Ryan would be a great cornerback with the Saints. He has great coverage skills and can also play a role in blitzes, man to man coverage, and run-stopping. Ryan had four interceptions in 2019, which would tie with Marcus Williams for the most on the Saints.

The Saints need a player who can help create more turnovers and Logan Ryan could do just that. Janoris Jenkins is getting old and Lattimore has injury concerns at times. Even at full strength, Ryan would be a great addition.

The Saints aren’t deep enough at cornerback to be able to replace either one of those guys if someone gets injured, but signing Ryan would solve that issue.
