Number Two: Jadeveon Clowney

Somehow, former Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is still on the market. Clowney, a former number one overall pick by the Houston Texans, would be a match made in Heaven if he decided to take his talents to the Big Easy.

Clowney’s dream scenario would be a one-year deal in New Orleans to prove he can still ball out while chasing a coveted Super Bowl ring. Rumors came out that Jadeveon Clowney was interested in playing for the Saints, but no deal has been worked out yet.

Clowney has logged some impressive numbers in his career accumulating 236 tackles, 71 tackles for a loss, 80 quarterback hits, eight forced fumbles, eight fumbles recovered, 14 passes defended, one interception, and four defensive touchdowns.

Putting Clowney on the opposite side of Cameron Jordan, who respectively had 15.5 sacks of his own in 2019, would create the best defensive end duo in the entire NFL. The Saints will need their defense to step up in 2020 if they want to win a ring, and the addition of Clowney would be a step in the right direction.
