The New Orleans Saints have had a productive offseason, but they may not be done quite yet as many stars are still on the market.

The Saints have taken an interesting approach when it comes to acquiring new talent to join the organization and compete for a Super Bowl ring. After all, with this potentially being Drew Brees’ last season, the franchise should go all in for a ring.

The Saints seemingly are trying to acquire veteran talent at each position to help mentor the young talent the Saints acquired through the draft and the guys who are already on the team. It’s evident if you look at their moves this offseason.

Malcolm Jenkins was brought in to mentor Marcus Williams and start alongside him and Emmanuel Sanders was brought in to complement the young Michael Thomas and help mentor Tre’Quan Smith and Deonte Harris.

Even when it comes to drafting, they brought in Adam Trautman to fill in behind Jared Cook and Zack Baun to be in a veteran linebacker corps as well. That said, the three free agents the Saints could potentially sign would fill that same role very well.
