Taysom Hill:

Taysom Hill isn’t an obvious choice for this, but let’s explain.

Hill gives Brees another outlet to throw the ball to. He also gives Drew the necessary breaks a 41-year-old player would need to keep up with the younger guys from time to time. Another thing Hill does very well is blocking, allowing Brees more time to make decisions.

The most important thing he may do is help get those third-down first downs.

When Thomas is locked up and Brees can’t squeeze it in to him, Hill can come in and either scramble or make another decision that’ll help move the chains. This gives Brees more time on the field to rack up yards and touchdowns that may have waited until the next drive.

Hill is the ultimate do-it-all man that knows how to complete any job. He also knows the starting job could be his in 2021, and helping Brees win a title would help get him to that spot.
