Rumor No. 1: The Saints will NOT make the playoffs.

Some are saying the New Orleans Saints may not see the same success in 2020 with conflicts in the locker room mixed with aging talent and some that could potentially hold out. Our own FanSided predicted that they’d miss the playoffs in 2020.

Last year, the Saints went 13-3, winning the NFC South for the third straight season.

Yes, they lost in the Wild Card round of the playoffs to Minnesota, but they had one of the best records in the league, and they in fact made it to the playoffs. Not only that, but this offseason, they improved.

How do you take a 13-3 team that improves in the offseason and say they will do worse than 7 teams in the NFC. They would have to be the bottom half of the entire NFL and that is simply not the case for the 2020 Saints.

Truth: The Saints should make the playoffs. There is a good chance that the team also finishes with the No. 1 seed and the only NFC first-round bye. On top of that, they are the top five in Super Bowl favorite voting.
