The New Orleans Saints are captained by the 41-year-old Drew Brees, and the future first-ball Hall of Famer is showing no signs of slowing down.

There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints improved their roster this offseason. Mainly by adding Emmanuel Sanders, the Saints bolstered their offensive firepower.

In the draft, they then addressed a few big-time needs at linebacker and offensive line as well. While the line wasn’t a huge need at the time, the team, just weeks later, released Larry Warford, saving around $8 million.

Before most of this happened, the Saints re-signed Drew Brees. Brees is well past the prime of his career, but don’t tell him that. Over the course of the last few seasons, he’s played well, captaining the Saints to three straight NFC South titles.

Looking to do it a fourth time in a row, the veteran has all the weapons necessary to make that a reality. The competition will be a bit more fierce for Brees in 2020, but fans should feel confident with him calling the shots.

That said, as Brees continued aging into 2020, let’s dive into three goals that he should have as he enters his 20th season in the league.
