The Saints have two 1,000-yard receiver

The New Orleans Saints brought in Emmanuel Sanders. The importance of his role on this team cannot go unsaid. He will be a huge factor for this offense, one that was without a second elite threat on the edge a season ago.

Sanders has notched 1,000 yards in a season three times throughout his career. Two of the three were with Peyton Manning. While he’s older now, Sanders will continue to be a terrific threat for this offense.

Then, you take Sanders, who is already an underrated receiver, and you pair him with Michael Thomas to make one of the best duos in the league. Thomas put up a league-high 1,725 yards last season. He also notched an NFL-record 149 receptions.

There’s no doubt Thomas will hit four digits in yards. However, if Sanders does is a good question. I don’t think it’s too bold of a statement to assume that Sanders will indeed be able to have 1,000 yards.

He’ll be a crucial point of this offense, and if he can stay healthy, he should easily have over 63 yards per game.
