Number One: The whole division will make the playoffs

I know it sounds crazy, but it could happen.

The NFL expanded their playoffs from 12 teams to 14 teams, adding an additional wild card team for each conference. The NFC South almost always has multiple teams make the playoffs, and 2020 could be the first time an entire division reaches that milestone.

This prediction may seem a bit far fetched, but that’s the point of a bold prediction. The NFC South undoubtedly has the talent the make it happen, the only thing preventing them from actually being able to achieve this goal is the fact that they have to face each other six times.

The additions of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gives them a competitive edge, and Todd Gurley to the Falcons helps them acquire much-needed backfield talent.

The Carolina Panthers added their quarterback of the future in Teddy Bridgewater and will look to majorly improve in 2020.

The surplus amount of talent that lies in the NFC South is staggering. The NFL could see the NFC South completely take over the NFL in 2020 and I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened.
