With a need in a position where there are two superstars still left on the market, should the Saints prioritize Jadeveon Clowney or Everson Griffen?

Currently, the New Orleans Saints employ Cameron Jordan and Marcus Davenport on the edge at their DE position. While this is a good duo, it has the possibility to become even better by adding Jadeveon Clowney or Everson Griffen.

Both defensive ends are still awaiting offers and rumors are that they are willing to take less money to play for a contending team. The Saints are the perfect fit, a team with high chances of hoisting another Super Bowl trophy.

Marcus Davenport could easily slide to the bench for one season making room for either one of these talents to play opposite Cameron Jordan. It’s not like Davenport would immediately be relegated to zero snaps, but his volume would be reduced.

That would not only add another superstar to the line, it would add great depth to a position where there is little.

With both rushers interested and the Warford money now available, should the Saints prioritize Everson Griffen or Jadeveon Clowney when it comes to who will fit better on the team for the upcoming season?
