Number Two: Rob Gronkowski

Rob Gronkowski came out of retirement to join the Tampa Bay Bucs and Tom Brady as they look to compete for a playoff spot in the NFC South. Gronkowski, 31, was widely regarded as one of the best tight ends in the NFL before his retirement in 2018.

The addition of Gronkowski in Tampa Bay gives the Bucs a great receiving corps that already features Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Gronkowski’s addition also gives Tom Brady a familiar face in the receiving corps, which is priceless in a limited offseason due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Gronkowski has had a great career statistically, hauling in 521 receptions, 7,861 yards, and 79 touchdowns.

The addition of Gronkowski gives the Buccaneers flexibility at the tight end position with both him and OJ Howard currently on the team. However, it’s certainly possible that one of them isn’t on the team come Week 1.

Gronkowski could also use the experience he’s gain from being awarded five Pro Bowl selections, four First-Team All-Pro Selections, and three Super Bowl rings to help mentor the younger guys on the team.

The Saints need to watch out for Gronk in 2020.
