Games 1-4:

Week one of the 2020 NFL season starts with a matchup of two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks and kicks the year off with one of the biggest offseason storylines as Tom Brady will be playing his first game in Tampa Bay.

Brees plays host to Brady as they will compete against each other in what is expected to be one of the best games during opening weekend. Due to quarterbacks typically not having a great first season under Bruce Arians, I give the edge to the Black & Gold in week one 31-28.

Week two has the Saints traveling to Las Vegas to be a part of the inaugural game in the brand new Alliant Stadium.

The buzz is sure to be electric for this Monday Night Football matchup, especially with Jon Gruden at the helm. The Raiders roster is still in a bit of a rebuilding mode and Derek Carr is still an inconsistent signal-caller so I’m giving the Saints a commanding victory 35-14.

Week three displays a bit of a humble rivalry between Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees as the Green Bay Packers travel to New Orleans.

Rodgers has been given all the accolades Brees certainly deserves more all throughout the offseason and this could prove to be an interesting matchup. The Packers added a lot of skill to their roster and I think they just edge the Saints in this one 24-23.

In week four, the Saints will travel to Ford Field in Detroit to square off against the Detroit Lions. The Lions have added some solid talent in cornerback Jeff Okudah and running back D’Andre Swift, but for the most part they are still a young rebuilding team.

The experience of the Saints will prevail as they go on to win 38-10.
