Demario Davis

Currently, Demario Davis makes over $9 million per year with a combination of salary and incentives. However, Davis is also going to be 33 years old by the time his contract expires at the end of this season.

He was also a first-team All-Pro in the NFL last season, but he did not make the Pro-Bowl. As weird of a feat as that is, it is harder to make the all-pro team, so Davis was awarded the higher honor of the two.

Davis had one of his best seasons last year totaling 111 tackles (third-most in career), 4.0 sacks (third-most in career), 11 tackles for a loss (third-most in career), one interception (tied career-best), and 12 passes defended (career-best).

He also helped solidify the middle of the defense in a linebacking core that is often injured. Davis has only played with the Saints for a couple of years, but he has made the most of those years and deserves an extension.
